Free Black Friday offer margin checker
A small spreadsheet to check whether a discount still makes money after unit cost, shipping and packing, and your payment fee percentage. Excel and Google Sheets. No store connection.
What you get
- Offer Margin Lite spreadsheet (.xlsx): Start Here, Settings, Offer Planner
- SAMPLE offers you can replace with your own numbers
- PDF guide (US Letter and A4) with a worked SAMPLE example
- Licence for one store or brand
What it calculates
Enter regular price, unit cost, shipping and packing, and the discount. Set your payment fee % once in Settings. The file shows sale price, profit per unit before and after the discount, sale margin, and how many more units you would need to sell to earn the same gross profit. Offers that lose money on every sale are flagged in red.
Plain formulas, no macros. Polar uses your email to deliver the file. We will not add you to a newsletter unless you sign up for one.
A worked SAMPLE (made-up numbers)
Payment fee 2.9% of the price. These figures are labelled SAMPLE in the file so you can see the maths; they are not real store results.
